Job summary

S&ME is hiring an NDT/NDE Technician in Atlanta, GA to inspect structural steel and perform non-destructive testing, including UT and MT on welds. The role involves fieldwork on towers, tanks, and buildings, with potential overtime and weekend shifts. Candidates should have 3+ years NDT/NDE experience or an associate degree and hold relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years NDT/NDE metals testing experience or an associate degree.
• Active certifications: CWI, AMPP coatings certification a plus, ASNT Level II in at least one method.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and non-destructive testing (UT/MT) of welds and structures.
• Coordinate testing assignments across projects and report results.
• Maintain testing equipment and calibration records; support quality audits.
• Create detailed, clear reports communicating findings.
