Job summary

InterLinc Mortgage Services is seeking an Outside Loan Originator to provide residential mortgage loans for home purchases or refinances. The role involves traveling away from the office more than 50% of the time to meet clients and close loans.

The candidate will engage in selling loan products, build relationships with realtors and title companies, and guide borrowers through the loan process while ensuring compliance with guidelines and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Fannie/Freddie guidelines and TRID/RESPA basics is expected.
• NMLS license is preferred or required depending on state and role.

Responsibilities

• Engage in sale of residential mortgage loan products to borrowers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with realtors, builders, title companies, and related entities.
• Educate borrowers on loan programs and the mortgage process, answer questions.
• Originate loans including pricing and lock, disclose estimates within required deadlines.
• Maintain knowledge of agency/investor guidelines and banking laws/regulations.
• Manage pipeline, follow up on applications, and ensure timely closings.
