InterLinc Mortgage Services in Knoxville, TN is seeking an Outside Loan Originator to help clients purchase or refinance residential mortgages. The role involves traveling away from the office more than 50% of the time and generating leads to grow production.

You will assess borrowers' credit, explain loan options, declare estimates, and coordinate with realtors, title companies, and other partners. The position requires knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, USDA and related guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma and knowledge of mortgage industry guidelines.
• Familiarity with TRID, TILA, RESPA, HMDA, FCRA, ECOA and QM is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Engage in the sale of residential mortgage loan products and services.
• Build and maintain relationships with realtors, builders, and title companies to generate business.
• Analyze borrowers' creditworthiness using credit reports, tax returns and assets.
• Counsel borrowers on loan programs and guide them through the mortgage process.
• Originate loans, prepare pricing, lock loans, and disclose Loan Estimates on time.
• Maintain knowledge of agency/investor guidelines and applicable regulations.
• Follow up on leads and ensure documents are submitted before deadlines.
• Update borrowers and agents on loan status and manage the production pipeline.
• Provide superior customer service to achieve satisfaction.
• Adhere to employment agreement terms.
