Job summary

Columbus Water Works through Westaff Staffing Agency is seeking a Meter Technician to connect and disconnect water service, perform meter reads, and maintain AMR/AMI systems. You will respond to customer inquiries, walk routes or drive, and be on-call for after-hours emergencies.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Proficiency with CIS Infinity is preferred and prior meter experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Connects and disconnects water service.
• Repairs leaks and conducts pressure checks.
• Verifies meter readings on various AMR/AMI equipment.

• Operates and maintains meter reading equipment and software.
