Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus two years of experience repairing and maintaining water meters.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
• Physical ability to perform heavy work and operate in adverse environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and resolves meter issues including leaks, bills, and calibration.
• Locates, reads, and records meter data for billing and system updates.
• Connects and disconnects services, ensuring meters are leak-free and readings are accurate.
• Performs general and complex repair work on meters, boxes, and related hardware.
• Maintains inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies and keeps related records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
