Job summary

Mondelēz is seeking a merchandiser who will represent the brand in Salem, VA through in-store visits and merchandising execution. You will build relationships with store teams, order products via iPad, and ensure displays comply with promotional plans.

Daily duties include visiting stores, capturing photos and communicating insights to management. The role requires a professional, self-motivated individual with retail experience who can lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally push heavier loads.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license in your state.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Positive and professional attitude; self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to drive a personal vehicle to various store locations.
• Able to perform hard work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly and move heavier items as needed.
• Live within 25–35 miles of Salem, VA location.
• Schedule availability: Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Represent Mondelēz in-store with professionalism, positivity, and commitment to excellence.
• Serve as the face of the company, delivering outstanding customer service to store teams and shoppers.
• Execute daily store visits following Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Excellence, including capturing display photos via DMI.
• Build and maintain relationships with backroom receivers, store managers, and other store personnel.
• Order product via iPad to maintain in-stock conditions for shelf and display using Salesforce.
• Implement promotional displays and ensure compliance with RTM-negotiated plans.
• Follow daily schedules and priorities set by the RTM.
• Support seasonal sales, new product launches, and high-visibility merchandising events.
• Communicate store-level insights, issues, and opportunities to the RTM and management team.
• Lift, bend, and move products from stock rooms to store floors and stock store shelves while staying safe and compliant.
