Job summary

Archer Western Construction is seeking a Mechanical Foreman for the Apache Junction WRF Project in Apache Junction, AZ. The Foreman will supervise a crew of 3–15, coordinate daily activities, and oversee mechanical operations, including adjustments and repairs to heavy equipment used in construction.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, reading specifications, training workers, and coordinating with other trades.

Qualifications

• Leadership capabilities; experience managing crews and subcontractors preferred.
• Excellent communication with crew, management, subs and vendors.
• Ability to read and understand work plans.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Must adhere to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise crews within their area of the project.
• Schedule and coordinate activities of assigned workers and communicate with other trades.
• Read specifications and plans to determine construction requirements.
• Locate, measure, and mark site locations using measuring tools.
• Document personnel, production, and data on reports.
• Assist workers with construction tasks using hand tools.
• Inspect progress, equipment, and site for safety and compliance with specs.
• Maintain safety, and work in a drug-free environment.
• Train and supervise workers on policies and safety procedures.
