Job summary

Archer Western Construction is seeking a Carpenter for the Apache Junction Sewer District-WRF Expansion Project CMAR in Apache Junction, AZ. The role involves constructing wooden structures for bridges, walls and drainage, using hand and power tools, on a major civil project.

You will work in a team, adhere to safety policies, and may operate in varied weather conditions. Requires 3-5 years of carpentry experience, the ability to climb scaffolds, lift up to 50 lbs, and pass a pre-employment drug

Qualifications

• 3-5 years verifiable carpentry experience preferred.
• Ability to climb and balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; weather conditions may apply.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Commitment to safety policies and team communication.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Measure distance and mark guidelines on working surface.
• Build and install wooden structures per prefabricated units for bridges, drains, walls, and related structures.
• Assist with installation of awnings and metal decking for concrete slabs where needed.
• Use carpenter’s belt and hand/power tools and woodworking machinery.
