Job summary

The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western is seeking a Mechanical Foreman for the Apache Junction WRF Project in Apache Junction, AZ. The role oversees a crew of 3–15 and supervises mechanical operations, coordinating with trades and ensuring safety and project specifications are met.

Qualifications

• 5 years foreman experience preferred.
• 5-8 years of verifiable construction experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership; experience managing crews and subcontractors preferred.
• Ability to read and understand work plans.
• Ability to climb and balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Effective communication with crew, management, subcontractors and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Supervises crews within their specific area or portion of the project.
• Schedules and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers and coordinates with other trades.
• Reads specifications and plans to determine construction requirements or procedures.
• Locates, measures, and marks site locations or equipment placement.
• Records personnel, production, or operational data on forms or reports.
• Assists workers using hand tools or other equipment.
• Inspects progress, equipment, and site to verify safety and specifications.
• Complies with safety policies and maintains drug-free workplace.
• Trains and supervises workers on company policies, safety practices, regulations, and procedures.
