HireTalent is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer with a decade of field experience to lead startups, commissioning and field execution on industrial projects in Kentucky. You will review drawings, submittals and RFIs as the mechanical SME, and coordinate with contractors to meet milestones, safety standards and quality codes.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 10+ years in industrial/commercial construction, 5+ years in mechanical design, and OSHA 10 certification.

Formación

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in industrial or commercial construction projects.
• 5+ years in mechanical design field.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures — LOTO, Electrical Safe Work Practices, Control of Hazardous Energy, arc flash.
• Working knowledge of IBC, NEC, NESC, NFPA, ASME, AMCA, ARI, AWS, ASHRAE, FM.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Automotive or industrial manufacturing experience.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate mechanical building system startups & commissioning activities.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, design drawings, specs & contractor RFIs as the mechanical SME.
• Oversee mechanical contractors on schedule milestones, quality & coordination.
• Coordinate weekend and plant shutdown work with contractors and plant facilities groups.
• Prepare field engineering status reports and act as liaison between field construction and project management.
• Conduct continuous inspections for compliance with specs, quality standards & codes.
