Job summary

Alamo Cement Company in San Antonio, TX, seeks a Mechanical Site Engineer to provide on-site mechanical engineering support for CAPEX projects, from constructability reviews through turnover.

You will oversee contractors, review drawings and vendor docs, coordinate interfaces with civil, electrical and controls teams, and help ensure safe, timely project execution and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• 5-8 years of mechanical engineering, project engineering and industrial construction experience.
• Experience working with contractors, equipment suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site mechanical engineering support for CAPEX projects.
• Review drawings, layouts, and vendor documents for constructability.
• Oversee mechanical contractors to ensure compliance with specs and safety.
• Coordinate interfaces between mechanical, civil, electrical, and controls teams.
• Support commissioning, startup, and turnover activities.
• Maintain quality documentation and punch-list management.
