Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum four years’ experience with heavy process equipment, or at least six months in cement plant operations.
• Must be able to read/write/speak English.
• Able to work extended hours, holidays, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate and/or test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and recommend repairs.
• Locate problems by observing equipment in operation and using precision instruments.
• Provide detailed written descriptions of work performed.
• Define scope of work, parts, and equipment for repairs during outages.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure uptime and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine corrective actions.
