Job summary

Alamo Cement Company in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Mechanical Site Engineer to provide site-based mechanical engineering support for CAPEX projects. You will oversee contractors, verify installation against drawings and specs, and coordinate with PM, Engineering, Construction, Quality, and Operations to ensure safe, timely execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical equipment installation and construction practices.
• Experience supporting mechanical completion, commissioning, and start-up activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide site-based mechanical engineering support for CAPEX projects.
• Oversight of contractors and field installation per drawings and specs.
• Coordinate interfaces with Civil/Structural, Electrical, Automation, and Operations.
• Support field engineering issues, RFIs, deviations, and quality checks.
• Participate in commissioning, start-up, and turnover activities.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related engineering discipline
