Job summary

Responsibilities

• Travel to field sites and shops as needed (CDL a plus).
• Plan work procedures and potential solutions with Equipment Superintendent.
• Troubleshoot and maintain heavy equipment including dump trucks, pavers, reclaim and milling machines, loaders, graders, dozers, pavers and rollers.
• Discuss damage or malfunction with superintendent, operator, or project manager.
• Ensure safety practices and compliance with company policies.

What You Can Expect

• $27.00/hour or more based on experience

What You Will Do

• Travel in the field and jobsites and work in the shop as needed (CDL a plus)
• Plans work procedure and/or possible solutions such as part redesign, substitution of material or parts, or rearrangement of parts or subassemblies in conjunction with Equipment Superintendent
• Trouble shoot and maintain all types of heavy equipment including dump trucks, pavers, reclaim and milling machines, loaders, graders, dozers, pavers and rollers
• Examines equipment and discusses with superintendent, operator, or project manager the nature and extent of damage or malfunction
• Ensure engagement of equipment team in all safety best practices, ensure compliance with all company policies and safety rules
• Work closely with all equipment manufactures to keep up with new technology
