Job summary

Pike Industries, a CRH company, seeks a Field Mechanic in Hooksett, NH. You will travel to jobsites and in the shop, maintain and repair heavy equipment, and support our asphalt and aggregate operations.

We offer $27+ per hour, a $10 shift differential, a company vehicle and gas card, paid time off, and potential for annual increases. Health and disability benefits are provided, and safety is a core priority.

Responsibilities

• Travel in the field and jobsites and work in the shop as needed (CDL a plus)
• Plan work procedures and potential solutions with the Equipment Superintendent
• Troubleshoot and maintain heavy equipment including dump trucks, pavers, reclaim and milling machines, loaders, graders, dozers and rollers
• Assess equipment damage and discuss with supervisor or project manager
• Ensure safety practices and policy compliance across the equipment team
• Collaborate with equipment manufacturers to stay current with new technology
• 80% of health care cost paid by the Company year round

Field Mechanic

Field Mechanic( Hooksett, NH)

What you can expect

• $27.00/hour or more based on experience
• Shift differential $10.00 per hour
• Company vehicle and gas card

What you will do

• Travel in the field and jobsites and work in the shop as needed (CDL a plus)
• Plans work procedure and/or possible solutions such as part redesign, substitution of material or parts, or rearrangement of parts or subassemblies in conjunction with Equipment Superintendent
• Trouble shoot and maintain all types of heavy equipment including dump trucks, pavers, reclaim and milling machines, loaders, graders, dozers, pavers and rollers
• Examines equipment and discusses with superintendent, operator, or project manager the nature and extent of damage or malfunction
• Ensure engagement of equipment team in all safety best practices, ensure compliance with all company policies and safety rules
• Work closely with all equipment manufactures to keep up with new technology
• 80% of health care cost paid by the Company year round
