Job summary
S&ME in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking a Construction Materials Engineering Technician to work outdoors on soil, concrete, asphalt testing and related materials on diverse projects.
This full-time role requires a high school diploma, at least 2 years of field/ lab testing experience, and active ACI/ICC/DOT certifications; a valid US driver’s license and ability to travel are needed.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in construction testing/inspections (soil, concrete, asphalt).
- Active certifications: ACI, ICC, and DOT required.
- Valid U.S. driverfers license with clean driving record.
- Strong English communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze field and lab data; document observations and test outcomes.
- Perform soil, concrete, asphalt testing per project specs.
- Maintain and calibrate field and lab equipment.
- Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and clients; report project status.
