Job summary

Froehling & Robertson, Inc. is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Field Technician II to perform on-site soil and concrete tests at construction sites, ensuring adherence to project specifications. You will input data via mobile devices for fast transmission to project managers.

The role requires 12+ months of experience, a high school diploma, and valid driving. Some travel is expected; certifications in soils or concrete are preferred.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of relevant field testing experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Some construction experience is required; field testing preferred.
• ACI Level I Concrete, State DOT, or ICC certifications maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of soil, asphalt, masonry, and concrete.
• Prepare detailed field reports with test results and observations.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests on soil and concrete and report results.
• Evaluate site and subgrade conditions and provide recommendations.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and staff on issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
