Job summary

Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Technician to support land development and construction projects. You will perform field observations, sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and other materials, and prepare daily logs.

You will work independently and with a team, communicate progress to PM or Operations Manager, and ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office and measurement tools.
• Ability to perform basic math and read plans with training.

Responsibilities

• Field observations at jobsites in the Hagerstown region.
• Sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, and other materials.
• Prepare accurate daily logs of inspections and test results.
• Communicate progress to PM or Operations Manager.
