S&ME in Greenville-Spartanburg, SC seeks an entry-level Construction Materials Engineering Technician to gain hands-on field and lab experience on active projects. Start with concrete sampling/testing and grow into soils, asphalt, and masonry while contributing to quality and safety on site.

You'll perform field and lab tests, maintain equipment, and report findings, with training supported toward certifications through ACI and ICC.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong work ethic with a team mindset.
• Strong attention to detail and communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and lab tests on concrete, soils, asphalt, and masonry.
• Maintain equipment and ensure accurate reporting.
• Conduct inspections per IBC codes and document findings.
• Travel to project sites to support field work.
