Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Field Material Controller for Advanced Manufacturing at Saint Francisville, LA. You will manage field material control transactions for major capital equipment and materials under supervision, supporting projects and ensuring compliance with purchase orders and material control plans.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of capital equipment material control experience, OSHA certifications, and hands-on site experience in complex construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of material control processes, procedures, and tools.
• Review Shipment Release Request related supplier documentation and ensure shipment authorizations are approved.
• Administer Material Receiving Reports (MRRs), Material Issue Requests (MIRs) and OS&Ds.
• Maintain material control documentation in a repository.
• Coordinate with project or departmental personnel in performance of material control activities.
