Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Field Material Controller for Advanced Manufacturing at our Saint Francisville, LA location. You will handle materials management for major capital equipment and related processes under supervision, ensuring task completion and compliance with PO terms.

You’ll work with the Manager of Material Control and project teams to manage MRRS, MIRs, OS&Ds, and shipments, while developing your knowledge of material control and procurement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, supply chain, or equivalent project experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of material control processes, procedures and tools.
• Review shipment release documentation and ensure approvals per PO and MC Execution Plan.
• Advise stakeholders on shipment releases and shipment authorization processes.
• Administer MRRS, MIRs and OS&Ds.
• Maintain a materials preservation activity registry.
• Coordinate OS&D resolution with project/department teams.
• Work under close supervision with no direct reports.
• Coordinate with project personnel to perform material control activities.
