You’ll run multi-channel events—dinners, workshops, roundtables, virtual programs—and orchestrate attendee acquisition, sponsorships and on-site execution across 100+ annual events.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B event management across flagship and regional conferences, dinners, peer groups, roundtables and virtual events.
  • Track record of self-hosted events that filled the room with the right people.
  • MSP or IT channel experience, with relationships across event organizers, peer groups, distributors and vendors.
  • Confidence presenting to any audience, from a 20-person dinner to a conference stage.
  • Strong operations across booths, merch, shipments, vendors and travel, with several events running at once.
  • 2+ years managing people, plus ownership of event budgets and funnel outcomes from MQL to revenue.
  • Comfort in Salesforce campaigns and reporting, plus a project management tool like ClickUp.
  • Willingness to travel consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Own the annual calendar across conferences, regional shows, peer groups, roundtables, hosted and virtual events.
  • Score every event on attendees, prospect fit, cost per attendee and projected pipeline, then recommend go, no-go or test.
  • Know the MSP and cybersecurity event landscape cold and negotiate sponsorships and speaking slots with organizers.
  • Run Atakama-owned dinners, workshops, roundtables and bespoke events built around target accounts, often alongside major conferences.
  • Run a recurring virtual program of webinars, virtual roundtables and panels, with speakers from partners, customers and Atakama.
  • Own attendee acquisition: invite lists with sales, promotion across email, LinkedIn and partner channels, and registration.
  • Lead our presence at flagship and regional MSP and cybersecurity events, from booth concept to on-site execution.
  • Book meetings with sales before each event and route every lead within 24 hours.
  • Present anywhere: keynotes, panels, dinner welcomes, webinars and roundtables. Be a trusted voice in the community.
  • Run logistics: venues, vendors, AV, booths, shipments, merch inventory, travel and lodging.
  • Build playbooks so every event runs to the same standard.
  • Lead and develop a team of Field Marketing Associates who can run events independently.
  • Set quarterly and annual targets for MQLs, SQLs, SALs, pipeline and revenue, and the budget to hit them, with the VP of Marketing.
  • Report results by event in Salesforce and shift spend toward what performs.
