Job summary

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is seeking a Market Development Representative to grow sales and market share in the assigned area.

The role focuses primarily on retail execution, distribution, and promotion of Sierra Nevada brands within key on- and off-premise accounts. The position involves traveling within the southwest San Bernardino area, building relationships with retailers, coordinating promotions, and ensuring POS standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of business-to-business sales experience preferred.
• Experience in alcohol beverage industry preferred.
• Ability to learn liquor laws (state/federal).
• Proven ability to meet business goals: volume, distribution, profitability.

Responsibilities

• Call on existing accounts within area to grow distribution and share.
• Identify and solicit new business and retail opportunities in area.
• Merchandise products and POS materials to brand standards.
• Conduct staff trainings, beer tastings, and events as needed.
• Secure displays and ensure proper beer placement at accounts.
• Provide excellent service to become preferred supplier.
