Job summary

City of Memphis seeks a semi-skilled worker to assist crews maintaining storm drains, sewer lines, streets, and facilities under supervision. You may unclog lines, operate sewer cleaning equipment, and handle materials and attachments as needed.

Requirements include the ability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance, a valid Class B CDL, and compliance with DOT rules. This is outdoor work with exposure to weather, traffic, and industrial cleaners.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in construction and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining storm drain systems, sanitary sewers, streets, and facilities.
• Operate sewer cleaning equipment and handle attachments as directed.
• Load/unload materials and assist with concrete work and general tasks.
