Job summary

NEW EARTH RESIDENTIAL LLC is seeking a dependable Service Technician to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete maintenance tasks for equipment and systems. The role requires clear communication with customers and team members, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

You will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, perform preventive maintenance, document work, and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Experience in service, maintenance or related technical field.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, service instructions or work orders.
• Basic computer skills for documenting service activities.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, stand, bend and perform physical tasks.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, systems, or machinery as assigned.
• Perform preventive maintenance to help reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Diagnose technical issues using appropriate tools, testing methods, and service procedures.
• Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations for future service.
• Communicate clearly with customers, supervisors, and team members regarding service status and completed work.
• Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain service vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition.
• Order or request parts and materials as needed to complete repairs and maintenance.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the organization professionally.
