Job summary

Otis Elevator Company, based in Canton, MA, is seeking a maintenance operations leader to oversee day-to-day management and training of field staff. The role reports to the Service Sales manager in the Canton territory and aims to ensure safety, service quality, and customer satisfaction across the region.

You will plan field activities, allocate resources, lead field education, and drive efficiency improvements while supporting a culture of safety and excellence within a global elevator

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing a team of technicians.
• BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience (at least 5 years).
• Strong communication and safety leadership in a dynamic, field-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure field employee safety and quality of service in your territory.
• Plan, organize, and manage service field activities to meet customer needs and company standards.
• Ensure effective and efficient allocation of manpower and materials.
• Conduct field education training with field workforce.
• Improve efficiencies, manage route schedules and callback rates.
• Provide technical support to field staff, either self-provided or via experts.
• Authorize repair orders and track completion.
• Lead change toward better efficiency and communication.
