Job summary

Otis Elevator is seeking a driven operations lead to manage maintenance activities in the Houston area. You will supervise field teams, train staff, ensure safety and service quality, and optimize resource use to meet customer needs and company standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and technical support, with travel within the territory and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and cost control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing a technicians team is required.
• Leadership experience is required.
• Elevator industry experience is desired but not required.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills in a team environment.
• Strong computer/tech skills, business acumen, and customer service passion.
• Travel within territory; valid driver’s license as needed.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure field employee safety and quality of service in your territory.
• Plan, organize, and manage service field activities to meet customer needs and standards.
• Allocate resources efficiently, including manpower and materials.
• Conduct field education training with field workforce.
• Improve efficiencies, manage route schedules and callbacks.
• Provide technical support to field staff, internally or via experts.
• Authorize repair orders and track completion.
• Lead change toward better efficiency and communication.
