Job summary

Tricon Homes in Nashville seeks an Assistant Maintenance Manager - Technician to oversee the Maintenance team for occupied homes within a designated portfolio. You will manage Maintenance Technicians, coordinate workload, and ensure safety and quality standards while delivering excellent resident service.

Occasional travel to markets such as Indianapolis, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington DC is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and self-manage.
• Knowledge of project management software.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Maintenance Technicians to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Coordinate daily activity, attendance, time sheets and inventory.
• Monitor work quality and safety across in-house teams.
• Address health, safety, and resident concerns with urgency.
• Meet project deadlines and manage budgets and timelines.
• Conduct weekly team meetings and communicate updates.
• Collaborate with management, legal, and residents to resolve issues.
• Oversee and manage scope, budgets, and timelines for projects.
