Job summary

JT4, LLC, a provider of engineering and technical support for western test ranges, seeks a Field Engineer I in Edwards, CA. The role requires independent work, leadership of maintenance trades (Electrical, Mechanical/HVAC, Structural, Carpentry, Plumbing), and PM/CM scheduling.

Candidates must have an associate degree in engineering or training with 4+ years’ experience, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in engineering or formal training and 4+ years in the field.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment, and related engineering concepts.
• Effective written and verbal communication; planning and organizational skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a section of maintenance trades specialists and technicians.
• Schedule PM/CM, installs, and projects for Site Support shop.
• Prepare and review Local Work Cards and LOTO procedures for systems.
• Coordinate maintenance and assist on complex projects as directed.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with QA requirements.
• Travel to remote work locations may be required.
