Job summary

JT4, LLC in Edwards, CA is seeking an Engineering Technician IV to support the engineering and design teams across installation, maintenance, diagnosis, and testing of diverse electronic and mechanical systems under contract with DoD programs.

The role requires seven years of related experience, vocational training, strong troubleshooting, and ability to obtain security clearance. Travel and overtime may be needed; a valid driver's license and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Vocational/technical training beyond high school and seven years of related experience.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills with planning/organizational abilities.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license and be able to obtain security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required; CDL and additional certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, monitor, and service equipment and systems at the company and client sites.
• Assist with test and evaluation, checkout, and certification tasks.
• Perform validations/verifications of various electronic systems.
• Review engineering change proposals for equipment impacts and assist in implementing changes.
• Develop technical data for maintenance manuals, procedures, and drawings.
• Provide on-site customer interface for installation, testing, and other engineering tasks.
• Train junior technicians and support engineers in operations and maintenance of telemetry systems.
