Job summary

West Bend Insurance Company is seeking a Loss Control Representative to cover the Raleigh/Durham area from a home office. The role conducts onsite risk assessments, develops risk mitigation plans, and coordinates with underwriters and agents to grow business.

Travel to client sites and occasional weekend trainings are expected. Qualified candidates have 3 years of loss control or related experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in safety, loss control or related field
• Independently service large/complex accounts with minimal guidance
• Willingness to coach and mentor colleagues and take on advanced projects
• Experience with a multi-line insurance carrier preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite risk assessments and service to prospects, new quotes and existing accounts
• Develop service plans and provide recommendations to underwriting and clients
• Foster relationships with agents to secure new business
• Manage a field service territory and deliver safety trainings
• Occasionally conduct weekend trainings and travel as needed
• Collaborate with underwriters and peers to improve risk selection
