Job summary

West Bend Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Loss Control Representative for the Greater Raleigh/Durham area. This field-based role covers multiple NC locations, requiring travel from a home office.

You will conduct risk assessments, develop service plans, and work with agents and underwriters to expand business while ensuring safety programs are in place. Weekend trainings may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in safety, loss control or related field.
• Independence in servicing large/complex accounts with minimal guidance.
• Willingness to coach and mentor peers and engage in professional development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite risk assessments and risk exposures analyses.
• Develop service plans and provide written/verbal recommendations to underwriting.
• Collaborate with agents and underwriters to secure new business and manage service territory.
• Deliver training presentations to business clients, large groups, or associations—often in-person or weekend.
