Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions seeks a Loss Control Specialist to deliver loss control services within a defined region. You will perform hazard assessments, onsite safety surveys, and hazard mitigation, coordinating with claims and clients to reduce risk and loss in the workers’ compensation program.

The role requires travel to client sites, strong communication, and ability to develop customized safety programs while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in safety and health.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license for regular travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hazard assessments for underwriting decisions.
• Perform onsite safety surveys and client interviews to identify hazards and exposures.
• Evaluate effectiveness of client controls addressing hazards and exposures.
• Develop customized health and safety programs and support implementation.
• Prepare written recommendations to mitigate hazards and exposures.
• Coordinate with Claims Manager on claim management activities.
• Deliver safety services and client training per client service agreements.
• Document findings consistent with loss control guidelines.
• Provide OSHA guidance to support regulatory compliance.
• Investigate significant losses and liaise between clients and claims.
