Job summary

Leavitt Group seeks a Loss Control Consultant to join Leavitt Risk Advisory, partnering with commercial clients to reduce losses and build safer workplaces. You will conduct on-site and virtual risk assessments, analyze data, and provide practical, data-driven recommendations.

Responsibilities include delivering training on safety programs, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance, while helping clients strengthen risk management practices and drive measurable safety improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in loss control, safety consulting, risk management, or related fields.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and recommending practical solutions with measurable results.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety systems, workers' compensation, and compliance.
• Strong communication, presentation, consulting, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Experience serving clients in construction, manufacturing, transportation, healthcare, hospitality, real estate, or public entities is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field preferred; professional certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site and virtual assessments of client operations to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Build strong client relationships to support retention, growth, and program success.
• Analyze claims data, OSHA records, and loss trends to reduce losses and improve safety outcomes.
• Develop practical, data-driven recommendations for safer workplaces and stronger operations.
• Deliver training and guidance on workplace safety, incident investigation, fleet safety, and compliance.
• Help clients build and strengthen safety programs and proactive risk management practices.
• Partner with Producers, Account Executives, Claims Advocates, underwriters, and carriers to deliver risk solutions.
