Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions is seeking a Loss Control Specialist to deliver on-site risk assessments, hazard identifications, and safety program implementation for clients in a defined region. You will conduct comprehensive hazard surveys, OSHA guidance interpretation, incident investigations, and loss-control documentation to support underwriting and claims processes.

Regular travel to client sites nationwide is required, with strong communication and data analysis skills essential.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent combination of experience, skills, education preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in safety and health.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn other applications.
• This role requires a valid, non-restrictive driver’s license due to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hazard assessments for clients and support underwriting decisions.
• Perform onsite safety surveys and client interviews to identify hazards and exposures.
• Develop customized health and safety programs and assist with implementation and ongoing compliance.
• Prepare written recommendations outlining effective controls to mitigate hazards.
• Coordinate claim management activities with the Claims Manager as needed.
• Travel domestically to client sites and attend conferences and training sessions.
