Job summary

H&S Loss Control Inspections, Inc. is seeking qualified inspectors to perform commercial loss control inspections in the United States.

Independent contractors will review assignment requirements, schedule inspections, and document findings with photographs and measurements. Applicants should have direct experience in commercial loss control inspections or completed a qualifying training course; CSP, OHST, ALCM, ARM certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience providing commercial insurance loss control inspections
• Understanding of commercial property and casualty lines: property, general liability, and worker's compensation
• Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and communicate well verbally and in writing
• Comfortable completing reports online and uploading documents

Responsibilities

• Receives assignments electronically and reviews inspection requirements.
• Schedules inspections with the insured by phone, email, or text.
• Inspects the property for hazards pertaining to utilities/building systems and life safety; takes 20-35 photos.
• Interviews the insured for operations information and building system ages.
• Communicates inspection status through the online application.
• Completes the inspection report in Loss Control 360 with Rapid Sketch and returns it electronically.
