Job summary

LineQuest, LLC is seeking an experienced Locate Technician for full-time opportunities. Technicians work independently in the field using our company-provided vehicle and the state-of-the-art ticket and claims management system to ensure successful line location services.

The role requires 1–2 years of line locating experience, strong verbal and analytical skills, and a valid driver’s license. The position supports safety, efficiency, and environmental protection on job sites.

Qualifications

• Experience is a must! 1 to 2 years line locating experience recommended.
• Effective verbal and listening skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must have/maintain a valid Driver’s license.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company policies.
• Ensure that all devices are properly working daily.
• Be able to follow driving directions from Texas 811 One-Calls.
• Be able to walk 3 to 5 miles a day if needed.
• Ability to adapt to adverse situations.
• Ability to learn new devices and changing laws.
• Keep immediate supervisor/manager aware of any issues or problems in the field.
