Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in utility locating or construction preferred.
• Ability to read maps, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Proficient use of locating equipment and technology.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark underground utilities using specialized equipment.
• Respond to locate requests accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate with contractors, utility companies, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain records of locate activities (maps, reports, photos).
• Follow safety protocols and regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of locating equipment.
• Assist in training new technicians.
