Job summary

LineQuest, LLC is seeking an experienced Locate Technician for full-time field work. You will operate in the field using the company-provided vehicle to perform line locating and coordinate with the production manager for HydroVac services.

The role requires 1–2 years of locate experience, a valid driver's license, and compliance with pre-employment and random drug screening. You will work independently in diverse outdoor environments and must be able to adapt to changing field conditions.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of line locating experience required.
• Must possess/maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screening.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening abilities.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field line locating to identify underground utilities.
• Coordinate with the production manager for HydroVac-related jobs.
• Utilize the company ticket and claims management system to document work.
• Follow safety policies and wear required PPE in all field conditions.
• Adhere to driving directions and maintenance of equipment in the field.
