Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Asheville, NC is seeking a Field Supervisor to lead a team of underground utility locate technicians, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient locating operations in accordance with company policies and customer requirements.

You will manage daily workload and ticket flow, monitor field quality and safety, provide training, and serve as the main liaison between field technicians, operations leadership, customers, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in facility locating
• Ability to lead and supervise field locate technicians
• Willingness to travel between service areas and provide field support
• Excellent customer service skills
• Integrity, reliability and strong professional judgment

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and develop underground utility locate technicians.
• Manage daily ticket routing, workload, and technician productivity.
• Support trouble locates, projects, designer tickets, and escalated locating requests.
• Conduct locate quality, field safety, vehicle, and maintenance audits.
• Addresses performance issues and administers discipline in accordance with company policy.
• Responds to customer concerns and communicates operational expectations to the locate team.
• Provide field and after-hours support as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned
