Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee a team of Locate Technicians. You will ensure locating operations are performed safely, accurately, efficiently, and in line with company policies.

The role connects field technicians with operations leadership, customers, and internal departments, managing workload, quality, safety, and training across the service area. Occasional travel and after-hours support are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in all facets of facility locating.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and supervise field-based locate technicians.
• Must be willing and able to travel between assigned service areas and provide field support as needed.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, and develops underground utility locate technicians.
• Manages daily ticket routing, workload, and technician productivity.
• Supports trouble locates, projects, designer tickets, and escalated locating requests.
• Conducts locate quality, field safety, vehicle, and maintenance audits.
• Addresses performance issues and administers discipline in accordance with company policy.
• Responds to customer concerns and communicates operational expectations to the locate team.
• Provides field and after-hours support as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned
