N&S LOCATING SERVICES d.b.a. S&N is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee a team of locate technicians in the Asheville, NC area. The role ensures safe, accurate, and efficient underground utility locating in line with company policies and customer requirements.

You will coordinate workload, monitor technician performance, and liaise with customers and operations leadership. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in facility locating, proven leadership, and strong communication skills, with

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in all facets of facility locating.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and supervise field-based locate technicians.
Strong customer service, integrity, reliability, and professional judgment.

Responsibilities

Supervises, trains, and develops underground utility locate technicians.
Manages daily ticket routing, workload, and technician productivity.
Supports trouble locates, projects, designer tickets, and escalated locating requests.
Conducts locate quality, field safety, vehicle, and maintenance audits.
Addresses performance issues and administers discipline in accordance with company policy.
Responds to customer concerns and communicates operational expectations to the locate team.
Provides field and after-hours support as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
