Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a Field Supervisor to lead a team of Locate Technicians in the Charlotte area. You will supervise, train, and motivate technicians to perform safe and accurate underground locating while meeting customer requirements.

You will route tickets, monitor productivity, and participate in audits of safety, field quality, and vehicle maintenance. Travel across service areas and strong customer service are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in all facets of facility locating.
• Ability to lead, coach, and supervise field-based locate technicians.
• Willingness and ability to travel between assigned service areas and provide field support as needed.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Integrity, reliability, and strong professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, and develops underground utility locate technicians.
• Manages daily ticket routing, workload, and technician productivity.
• Supports trouble locates, projects, designer tickets, and escalated locating requests.
• Conducts locate quality, field safety, vehicle, and maintenance audits.
• Addresses performance issues and administers discipline per policy.
• Responds to customer concerns and communicates operational expectations to the locate team.
• Provides field and after-hours support as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
