Job summary

Leader Communications Inc. seeks a skilled Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Technician to support operation and maintenance of LMR hardware, software and infrastructure at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, TX. The role requires the ability to obtain a U.S.

Government Public Trust security clearance. The position emphasizes routine maintenance, troubleshooting, system changes, and documentation. Candidates should have hands-on experience with electronic communications equipment, relevant OEM

Qualifications

Three years related experience in supporting similar LMR systems.
OEM certifications related to LMR devices or vendors.
U.S. Citizenship with ability to pass a background check and obtain CAC.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventative maintenance as scheduled per manufacturer and organizational policies.
Troubleshoot, repair, replacement, updates, changes, and configuration of hardware, software, and infrastructure.
Program, configure, test, and validate system changes per organizational policies/procedures.
Update and maintain logs, records, and technical documentation.
Provide support for installations, modifications, and other projects.
