Job summary

Leader Communications is seeking a skilled Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Technician to support operation and maintenance of LMR hardware, software and infrastructure at Goodfellow Air Force Base in Texas. The role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S.

Government Public Trust security clearance and full time availability. You will perform routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and configure systems, document updates, and assist with installations and project work.

Qualifications

Minimum three (3) years related experience supporting similar systems and hardware.
Related OEM manufacturers certifications.
Proven hands-on experience repairing electronic communications equipment.
U.S. Citizenship with ability to pass a background check and obtain a CAC.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventative maintenance as scheduled per manufacturer and organizational policies and procedures.
Troubleshoot, repair, replacement, updates and configuration of hardware, software and infrastructure.
Program, configure, test and validate system changes per policies and requests.
Update and maintain logs, records and technical documentation.
Provide support for installations, modifications and other projects.
