Job summary

Bowhead seeks an LMR Telecommunications Technician to install, test, maintain, and repair Land Mobile Radio systems and Giant Voice equipment. The role covers RF components, antennas, backhaul, and related telecom infrastructure in a security-conscious environment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and collaboration on ISP/OSP cabling, voice services, and networked devices while following safety and configuration standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or technical training in Telecommunications, Electronics, RF Communications, IT, or related field preferred.
• Relevant military or industry training may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Three or more years of experience supporting LMR, RF communications, Giant Voice, or similar systems.
• Experience with ISP/OSP, copper/fiber cabling, and telephone adds, moves, changes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair LMR systems and equipment.
• Maintain LMR antennas, RF components, filters, and base stations.
• Support LMR backhaul infrastructure and related devices.
• Install and repair Giant Voice systems and associated infrastructure.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system testing for availability.
• Diagnose faults, replace components, and restore service.
• Use RF and telecom test equipment to verify performance.
• Support ISP/OSP cabling and telephone services.
• Document inventories, maintenance records, and test results.
• Adhere to safety, security, and configuration management requirements.
