Job summary

You will collaborate with engineers and IT staff, perform preventative maintenance, ensure FCC compliance, manage records, and respond to emergencies within two hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in LMR system design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in installation, repair, alignment, and maintenance of analog and digital trunked radio systems.
• Experience managing large-scale LMR deployments for public safety, utilities, or military sectors.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the LMR on-site technician providing daily customer service, troubleshooting, and programming for all LMR infrastructure and subscriber equipment.
• Install, configure, and maintain LMR systems and components, including RF repeaters, antennas, cabling, and dispatch equipment.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of analog and digital radio systems (e.g., P25, trunked/conventional).
• Conduct preventative maintenance and routine system performance checks.
• Program radios and update firmware/software as needed.
• Interface with end-users to resolve technical issues and support operational needs.
