Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience on electrical or low voltage system.
• Knowledge of low voltage system and logic programming.
• Basic understanding of electrical power systems.
• Understanding of basic Networking principles.
• Ability to read and understand building and control drawings.
• Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Must have the ability to multi-task and make decisions quickly.
• Must be able to travel extensively.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, along with auto insurance meeting minimum requirement of 100/300k injury/accident coverage.
• Must be proficient on Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provides start-ups and service for lighting control manufacturers, including field start-ups.
• Identify solutions to on-site technical issues involving lighting control systems.
• Provides control programming and testing in the field.
• Provides investigation and analysis in the field.
• Makes or directs installation corrections to solve problems.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
• Travel extensively as required.
