Job summary

Rogers Electric is seeking a Lighting Technician to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The role involves completing electrical tasks, troubleshooting, and performing break/repair work for retail clients.

You will read blueprints, run conduit, wire/terminate devices, and ensure quality control while adhering to safety rules. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in service/maintenance and 2-5 years in lighting, with valid driver’s license and willingness to travel, nights, weekends, and overtime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years previous service/maintenance experience.
• 2-5 years previous lighting experience.
• Understanding of lighting material and applications.
• Working knowledge of installing electrical systems.
• Exterior lighting technician and bucket truck experience.
• Ability to obtain a DOT certification.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move moderately heavy objects.
• Ability to ascend/descend ladders.
• Possession of reliable transportation and basic hand tools.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing to travel, work nights, weekends and overtime.
• Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
