Job summary

Diversified Energy Company is seeking a Lease Operator to monitor wells, operate and maintain surface equipment, and ensure safe, efficient production across assigned routes. The role requires attention to daily production data, safety compliance, and proactive issue resolution.

You will work under moderate supervision, communicate with the foreman, and participate in on-call rotations with potential night and weekend shifts. A valid license and oil field experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years oil field experience preferred.
• Valid driver license and a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to wear and use PPE as required.
• Knowledge of software for data collection such as Cygnet, FDC and FlowCal.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and report operation of wells and sites on an assigned route.
• Make routine checks on well sites and monitor production equipment.
• Inspect lease sites to ensure cleanliness and safety; manage daily fluid production and record levels.
• Gather daily, monthly, and quarterly production data and submit reports timely.
• Analyze production issues with foreman and resolve with the team.
• Communicate daily plans and issues to the production foreman; participate in safety meetings.
• Balance production on a route and optimize processes safely and cost-effectively.
• Assist with on-call rotations, including some nights and weekends.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and inspect equipment routinely.
